[ It's an unfamiliar site that you find yourself in tonight. An impossible room with different colors and glass floors, staircases that seem to go nowhere. At the center of the room is a column made of glass with panels filled with nonsense items: a typewriter, levers, hot and cold handles, even a phone! There's even a monitor hanging from the ( Read more... )

[An arrogant smile. A few slow, measured steps closer.]

No one you know can.

[The intruder turns out to be a teenage girl, to all appearances, with blue hair and a rather distinctive short-skirted tall-booted sailor uniform.

Mercury, for her part, assumes this simply a manifestation of the nexus, or the dream world; it doesn't matter which, really, both have the same tendency of placing her wherever their whim wants her to be. She's learned to control where the waking nexus takes her only imperfectly so far.]

No, see no one can. Not normally. She is a dimensional ship. You can't just walk into a dimensional ship without using the front doors or blowing a hole in her and I'd know if there was a big gaping hole in her. So, then, who are you and how did you get inside my ship?

[ The Doctor looks her over. Teenage girl, blue hair, short skirt... fairly normal for the 21st century of Earth. Not that it meant she was from there, of course. ]

Normally.

[The smirk stays in place. She is, after all, Mercury, whose abilities include certain powers over dimensions; she's torn holes into separate dimensions before, and created pocket dimensions of her own.

And of course the Dark Kingdom was its own dimension, too, with she and its other members able to travel between it and the human world.]

I'm the Soldier of Water and Knowledge, Mercury.

I'm telling you that since I'm the intruder here, but I want to know who you are now.

Mercury. As in the planet? Since when did planets have soldiers?

Poor Pluto. It's not even a proper planet anymore.

I feel sorry for introing Eleven to Ven through this AU of an AU :( drknss_bnd_lght May 20 2011, 06:46:42 UTC
Tardis? [Venitas snorts, arms crossed and blue feathered wings fluffed up somewhat, but mostlt flat against his back. It can't be seen due to the blindfold, but he's so rolling his eyes. This week just gets stranger and stranger.] I thought it was one of Xehanort, Xemnas or even Ansem's labs.

[... Yes, he's still in that bodysuit of his. He... doesn't where much else really. ]

So much wibbly-wobbly. Eleven will get the hang of it~ thatoldthatkind May 20 2011, 06:50:43 UTC
Now that's an interesting outfit--are those wings? [ No, no. Doctor. Stay focused. ]

Sorry. None of those names ring a bell.

XD He will! drknss_bnd_lght May 20 2011, 07:23:45 UTC
You must be new then. They are only Master's top scientists. Geniuses, all of them but pacifists all the same. [SNORT! Guess what he thinks of that??]

Hnn. It's functional. [And easy to clean blood out of and it's made for intimidation (Though the whole fluffy wings kinda... ruin it a bit) Even so, he's unfurling the wings as he starts to have a look around, peering at things. How he sees with the blindfold on is anyone's guess. ] So. What's a tardis then?

You're standing in her. Time and Relative Dimension in Space, a time machine! Capable of going anywhere and everywhere. So, while you think I'm new, I probably am, but that's because I didn't exist in your timestream until now.

Not sorry. At all. tiniestoverlord May 20 2011, 08:09:02 UTC
[To tell the truth, Laharl is just as shocked as the Doctor is. He's never been in a room or a Netherworld like this before.

But this is Laharl we're talking about. He has an ego.]

Ha! I'm a demon, of course I can!

No one should ever be sorry of bothering the Doctor! thatoldthatkind May 20 2011, 08:29:24 UTC
A demon.

[ Pause. ]

One of those mythological demons or just something that takes the word of "demon" because the human language doesn't have a proper word for your species?

I'm a demon! That's all you need to know!

Right then. A demon. A demon who can break down the boundaries of alternate dimensions and appear inside a box that carries dimensions insider her through space and time? I don't think so.

Umm... good question? [She winces and steps back a bit, taking everything in.]

I don't know. I went to bed, or I thought I was. Um, transporter error, maybe?

Not unless your transporter can suddenly transport your atoms through dimensional shielding.

Yeah, I'm more into medicine than engineering so I couldn't tell you one way or the other. [She looks at what she assumes are the controls.] Is this thing capable of transwarp beaming? I need to get back to my ship.

[ Well.

Well. This was something new. All the glass and the shiny things -- All the contraptions and sci-fi things were something to behold. Usagi almost doesn't hear the Doctor's voice until it's directed at her.

Then she spins around to face him, blue eyes wide with a mix of shock, curiosity and embarrassment. ]

I don't know! I wasn't even trying to go anywhere and I found myself here!

thatoldthatkind May 21 2011, 18:58:10 UTC
Does that happen normally to you?

[ The Doctor walks up to her, looking her up and down... and pokes at her hair. ]

Is it even possible to make your hair do that?

herlonelystar May 21 2011, 19:11:32 UTC
No, not rea-- H-hey!

[ She's just going to swat at the hand poking at her hair. Talking about her hair is a delicate subject! ]

Yes! It is possible! I wear my hair like this all the time!
