[ You're in front a large gate with the initials 'N.N.' in cursive on it. It's far too large to climb over and chained securely shut... for a second or so. Then suddenly that chain falls off and the gates open ominously. In front of you is a beautiful, endless estate. You will find a mansion, pool house, and even a hedge maze should you chose to

What the hell is this?

That was Hope's first though, mostly upon the gate snapping shut behind her and relocking. That was fucked up in her opinion. Mostly because Hope was a girl who needed to know her escape routes at all times. Needed to know. It almost panicked her that the obvious route was closed.

That just meant search for another.

So Hope began to wander the grounds a little. She could almost see other people, well only two people. A woman and a girl, but every time she tried to look at them or find them, they were gone.

"Hello!" Hope called out one of them, eying her scenery carefully, still looking for exits and weapons. "What is this?!"

My home. [The little girl replies. She appears from her hiding spot with a polite smile on her face. She doesn't seem troubled at all by the other girl's sudden appearance.]

Did you come here to play with me?

[messiahed]

"Shit!" Hope hissed. Then repeated the word again under her breath when she realized what it was that had made her jump like that. Or, a who really. It was just a little girl. Which made Hope change her attitude considerably. She always had a soft spot for kids.

Hope shook her head at the question, though. "No. I'm just looking for a way out. Do you know a way out, little girl?"

[The little girl shakes her head. She glances at the gate anxiously.]

She can't find the way out either. It's making us stay here.

[Creepy. That was the word Sora used when they got off the train and it disappeared; it seems to fit this situation as well. He sees the gate lock itself, sees the people- but isn't so concerned as to think he's stuck, not quite yet. Flashes of Sora using the keyblade to open any gate run through his mind.]

[The house is a curiosity, and since it seems to be the only thing not disappearing when he turns to it, it's the place that he seeks out with his footsteps. Entering the large, open space, he looks around. This place is nice... but empty.]

Anyone in here?

[Suddenly, someone is tugging at his clothes. Looks like the little girl is finally willing to show herself.]

Just me.

[He looks down at her, slightly startled, then smiles, kneeling to make up for her lack of height.]

Hey there. I'm Roxas.

Are you really all alone here? What about your parents?

Mama and Poppa aren't here.

Tomoe stood before the gate for a long time. The style of the gate, the architecture of the buildings that lay inside it--even the vegetation was alien to her

I'm not following you exactly.

[Looks like Tomoe has gotten lucky that the woman has decided to show her face instead of the child...or maybe not. She speaks in a quiet monotone and there's no emotion in her eyes. She wouldn't come off as friendly initially.]

I'm checking to see if you've found the exit while looking on my own for it.

[If Tomoe should have been surprised or further unnerved by the woman fully showing herself in more than a sideways glimpse she wasn't. The woman's lack of emotion is answered by an equally neutral mask.]

That's so. [That earns a small smile. She wasn't in the mood for big reaction anyways.]

You're not having any luck either from what I've seen.

Candy can't say she's the least bit comforted by the locking of the gate behind her as she steps inside, but it seems there's no turning back at this point. So she continues to enter the grounds, looking out for some sort of sign of what she's supposed to do next. Her first sign comes when she sees a little girl playing around.

"Hey!" Candy calls as she turns to chase after the girl but... soon her run slows to a stop as she realizes the girl's gone. Suddenly she sees something else out of the corner of her eyes. A woman. One who looks a like...

"Elektra?"

"Candy."

She stops dead in her tracks this time. Elektra had not counted on Candy of all people making an appearance in her dreams. At least here she could face her if only because running away was not an option. This was her dark place. It was not going to let her leave that easily.

"What are you doing here?"

It really was her. A part of her wants to think this is her dream but something doesn't feel like her dream. She's done conjoined dreaming once before already, and this vaguely reminds her of that. And it would explain the scenery. Candy would have no reason to dream of Elektra in a place like this.

"I'm not sure," She starts, looking around for only a second before looking back at Elektra, almost afraid she'll lose her again. "But I went to sleep and... this is your dream isn't it?"

Elektra nods. She knows of course this is real in her gut. This was not a hallucination who was going to accuse her (rightly) of abandonment. Somehow Candy had slipped into this dream world too and would be here with her until morning. It was almost comforting in a way. Normal Candy was far kinder than hallucination Candy even if Elektra had not seen the first one in years.

"You really shouldn't be here. This isn't a safe place."

[The gate snaps shut behind Noah and he jumps, immediately drawing his gun and stepping cautiously out into the clearing.]

Is anyone there? [He turns and sees the woman, slowly lowering his gun, though he doesn't put it away.] Do you live here?

[Elektra inclines her head to him. She doesn't bother turning fully.]

No.

Okay. [He grits his teeth. How helpful.] What is this place?

A child's home. [Watch her continue to be helpful.] You must have seen her running around here.
