[ Ariadne's network device turns on while pressed into some fabric, so it's rather hard to see anything. There are noises, however, adorable noises that sound remarkably like squeaks and purrs. Suddenly there's light and a rush of movement, the device being knocked over

[He scoops her up and heads over to the kitchen. He has a backpack on, which he dumps on the counter. He should put her down so he can get the can opener out but... furry kitty! He has five minutes for belly rubs.]

[ Squeaking in surprise as Stephen picks her up, Ariadne stares down at the floor for a minute, absentmindedly noting that she probably isn't this tall even as a human. Then is belly rub time, however, and the kitty instincts have her happily purring and squirming in delight. ]

[Hey, don't worry! Cheetahs land on their feet, don't they? Or is that only domestic cats? He gives her a little tickle before he sets her down on the kitchen table.]

You know, I'm pretty sure I never thought I'd ever be getting that cuddly with a girl again.

[He digs into his backpack and comes out with a few cans of tun, and some fish in packages.]

Cats like fish, right? And the raw stuff should be safe for you after the weekend.

[ She has no idea; Ariadne has never extensively studied cheetahs before, though she's beginning to think it might be a good idea if this could happen again in the future.

There's another squeak at his comment, though this one sounds far more amused than anything else, and Ariadne curls her tail around her back paws to watch him pull out the fish. ]

[He digs a bit of tuna out of the can and plonks it in a dish. Every part of him that went through cooking school is aching to at least put some salt and pepper on it, but he leaves it for now. He arranges it a little artfully before passing it over. Round one, eh?]

[ Leaning down to sniff it, Ariadne gently bats at the dish before looking up at Stephen. Tuna, huh?

... Well, here goes nothing. Nom. ]

What'ya think? I gotta be honest. You're not my usual clientele.

[ Looking back up at the question, Ariadne licks her little mouth before going back to eating the tuna. She might have preferred it otherwise as a human, but her cheetah cub tongue and stomach were enjoying it (even if it would rather have red meat). ]

[No red meat for you, tiny furry lady. You will regret it on Monday morning. Satisfied that his client is enjoying herself, Stephen starts knocking around the cupboards looking for tea. Eames is English, they must have good stuff.]

[ She's in college. She should be used to regretting things on Monday morning. ... Then again, she's extremely studious, so that rarely happens.

There might be tea, but the kitchen is nice and fire damaged, so good luck. ]

[Yeah seriously. Have you guys been eating? She closes and the final cupboard ans sits back down across from Ariadne, scratching her ears a little.]

So this is your first curse, eh? Gotta say, they hit you with a big one.

[ Well, Ariadne is tiny and can survive on small amounts of it, if she has to. Again, college student.

Pressing into Stephen's hand with another mew, her tail flicks. She's not sure whether the forgetting a bunch of things was a curse or not. ]

[ There's a single mew once again, but Ariadne is still trying to demand more scritches. ]

[Which just leads to her getting scooped up again. STILL TOO CUTE.]
