I'm running around doing a dozen last-minute errands before we leave for a week in Dallas. We fly out tomorrow, and I've got a couple gifts still to buy (!), several things to mail (clearly not going to make it by xmas, but oh well), cat food to buy, and a couple other random things to do

FedEx does that to me a LOT. It drives me bonkers. UPS used to do it at our old house, but not here.

How long will you be in Dallas?? It's such a crazy time of year, but it's only a couple hours from me!

We'll be in Dallas through Tuesday, 1/1. I'd love to get together if it could work out somehow...Lyle and Eloise would have so much fun together
