I have felt the aging of my body at least all the way back to about five years old, but it was never anything that upset me or freaked me out. It just was; I felt it as a natural part of life...
I feel slightly different since cancer and chemotherapy (now about seven years out), the ticking is quieter in my mind, not because I don't care, or because I got use to it, but because I never expected to get passed treatment. I do often feel like I have lived past my death.

Keep up the badass look though -- maybe you'll scare it and it'll back down. Either that, or else 30 will kick it to the curb... (or so we can hope.)
