First, goals in review:

FEBRUARY
Complete revisions on proposal pages on LMB
Complete synopsis of LMB
Send proposal and synopsis to agent for review

MARCH

Complete 100 pages of revisions for KND, aka Berta

Well, this is a bummer, for sure. BUT, at least you realized and accepted it now and not after you were completely finished with revisions -- before you sent it off to people with super critical eyes and the ability to say yay or nay to whether it's published or not. At least you have the opportunity to re-work it now in a more sensible way and you never know, whatever solution you come up with might make you love the story even more than you already do. Perhaps there's some evil character you didn't realize was supposed to be a part of this tale.

Anyway, good luck! I hope you resolve this fast so you can get back to revising for completion!

You figured it out...which is part of the reason we "curb" to begin with, right? Now that you know what won't work ... I have no doubt you will find something even creeper that WILL! Go get 'em girl!

Oh, no! I have such a love/hate relationship with realizations like this. As great as it is to realize something doesn't work sooner rather than later, it always sucks to realize it all the same. Good luck replacing it and making it work!
