My first two books I wrote in time sequence. My third book I wrote out of sequence and it seemed to work better, in a weird way. Now I'm working on the fourth book out of sequence and whenever I get stuck on one scene I just open a new file and move on to something else. Then I find I go back to the scenes I was stuck on a few days or weeks later and I'm not stuck on them anymore.
Of course, I'm not sure where TF the plot is going, but that's another story.
