Jon Stewart: boring

Nice tux, Rock, but it doesn't quite fit.

Jennifer Hudson: WHO told you you looked good in that dress?

Cate Blanchette: Pregnant and beautiful!

I think "Javier" has gotta be the sexiest male name ever.

Hal Holbrook is still alive?

Who was that amazing child who sang "Raise It Up ( Read more... )

Ha! You paid attention!

Boring gray. I almost got red but it was more expensive. And since I use a case, ain't like nobody can see it and say, "Oooh, what a cool RED phone!" :).

I suspect Molasses wasn't the only one. I only SAW one at a time but it's not like they run in packs, right? But there were just too many droppings for one little critter.

Robert Boyle blew me away. 98 years old and he spoke better and more coherently than most others. Wow! Very impressive. The guy was 18 years old during the first Oscars.

I'd really like to see No Country as well as There Will Be Blood. DVD most likely.

I second Billy Crystal. What else does he have to do?

Please let me know when services will be for Molasses. And where I can send flowers. Thanks.

I was praying they'd let RB keep talking and not interrupt him with the "okay-let-s-move-on-folks" music. And they did!

Re Billy--yes!! What HAS he done lately???

BRING BACK BILLY! BRING BACK BILLY!

Re Molasses: I only hope he dies where I can reach the body so I don't have to smell him (and his cohorts) for six weeks.

What! You're only concerned about the STENCH! Where's the compassion... the little guy was on your ass!!!

Please... give Molasses a fitting send off. No toilets or shoeboxes.

Maybe I can dig up a nice, discarded jewelry box...

Oh, wait. Nobody buys me jewelry. What am I thinking?

Thanks for the great wrap-up! I wanted to watch but I had 4 episodes left for season 2 of WEEDS and that won out because it was painful for me to watch the winners accept their awards and get music played over their speeches! (Best set design in particular.) These people worked long and hard - especially those behind the scenes who rarely get recognition. They should be allowed their moment or two in the spotlight. Or maybe I'm too sensitive! ;)

You're right--those set designers are truly BRILLIANT! People get so wrapped up in the actors/movies, etc. I think many of them don't give much thought to what goes on behind the scenes.
