I FINALLY fixed my website. A few new pieces of artwork, new "color" scheme, and some new buttons. Nothing Earth-shaking... but at least it's open.

You mentioned having trouble with Firefox because of using color="#white" and color="#black". You can either use hexadecimal format color="#rrggbb", or color="white" and color="black", or the equivalent CSS rules. In any case, "#white" and "#black" are not especially meaningful as colour names (and if they work anywhere, it's probably an accident).

I figured that's what was happening... but there are SOOOO many pages, I'm not really excited about going back through each page and copy/pasting again. Maybe next weekend.

What does it look like on what you're using?

I'm using the latest version of Safari under MacOS 10.4 and it looks fine (black background, white text).

Rather than copying-and-pasting to fix it, I recommend the next time you go back through on a patching run that you take the opportunity to use stylesheets instead. It'll be more work up front, but it will save you a lot of trouble the next time you want to tweak stuff on your site.
