I have been enduring a similar experience with my writing, nearly a total creative block. I attribute this to the fatigue of my working hours and a very busy life, but something deep inside craves a return to eloquence, and words stored in immortal prose.

I think it's more that we feel what we think is feeling old. We're really quite young, and this age disparity with the people around us is making us feel older than we ought, or at least that we're acting older than we ought.
