The Golden Gate Bridge

"The bridge burns, an arc as red as the glitter of the sun..." That was the start of the caption in my high school yearbook featuring my taking a photo of the bridge as the final photo. California is nice to visit but I still would prefer to live on the east coast. Perhaps retirement, or something. I don't think I'd want to work here.

Going to Las Vegas tomorrow, where it will be warmer and not so green. I hope you and yours stay warm!

Oh, I could live there, easily, though the traffic and congestion can be worse even than here.

It would be sort of pot calling the kettle black to critique the traffic here, given that we're familiar with Boston, but public transportation is not the most convenient in a city that should not have been built on a grid system. I suppose my major annoyance is how many people there are. I'm not fond of crowding and there is crowding any way you look at it. I'm not sure if the natural wonders of California would be enough to make up for that daily stress.
