[The video clicks on to show a very blue view, as in the top of a Marill’s head sort of blue, and soon enough there is a very loud yell from the pokémon. As if the image alone hadn’t been proof enough that the creature had been far too close to the pokégear and near enough eating it.

Thankfully it’s interrupted by someone before it can shout again.]

It does seem a little empty but, it's quite a nice place to start from. It would have been a lot more confusing to arrive in a crowded area.

( a pikachu comes scampering towards them both, stopping a few feet away. it tilts its head curiously, like it's examining some foreign specimens. )

( as it looks at them, and out of breath girl clutching her sides appears. she's huffing air in and out, the cold air making little white puffs of clouds appear every time she breaths a gust out. she gives maria a weak smile. )

[The marill steps forward just a little, trying to inspect the other pokémon without getting too close.

Maria simply stays back, watching the two creatures before her attention shifts. Noticing the girl come rushing by and then struggle to get her breath back. She returns the smile.]

Hello. [A small step forward.] Are you all right?

pikachu tilts its head to one side and then to another, studying marrill before it lifts one paw and says, "pi pika?" in question. ]

Y-Yes, I'm all right. I've just been walking all day in the cold! Ah, but I really hope we aren't disturbing you!

[A relieved look passes over Maria's face before a brighter smile.

Marill watches very carefully, one of its ears moving just a fraction at the question, "rill marill", it says in response.]

That sounds quite tiring. And you certainly weren't disturbing us, there's no need to worry about that.
