Well this sucks...

Oct 03, 2007 09:57

I just saw this morning that John Cena had to vacate the WWE Title due to injury. How many top guys has the WWE lost in the past few months? And this really sucks for Raw because now who do they but the belt on? Kennedy? Good choice except for his suspension. Orton? Any moment his douchebaggery could cause him a suspension. Carltio? I don't see him ( Read more... )

Only in this case, many fans are believing that "so and so" or "whats his name" will be replaced with "Chris Jericho". Check out http://www.teamcanadaonline.net/index.php/topic,3222.0.html, they've got a lot of interesting theories behind the weird short things on RAW. Its looking like Y2J or (hopefully not) HBK.

Here's hoping for Y2J, but knowing the 'E, here comes the Orton-Katie Vick-Mae Young's horrible baby hand match for the title. Watch for orton to blow spots when wrestling a corpse and a hand. He's "talented" enough.

Oh, and yes, it royally sucks that Cena's injured. Worst possible time for the 'E. Terrible time for Cena, as the main guy, to lose the spotlight from, of all things, a blown hip toss. Damn shame.

Hmmm.... the Undertaker? They just cracked the coffin for him again; although I had a very weird dream today involving the Undertaker turning into an annoyingly loud redneck because of a belt buckle change...

I know! Sgt. Slaughter was at a wedding a few WWE shows back.... he'd make me actually try to watch WWE instead of default to it...

It sucks that Cena is injured, but It was time for him to give up the belt anyways. I am hoping Orton finally gets it back...yes I may be a minority on this. I really wanted Orton to win it from Cena. Ah well.

Y2J would be awesome! I know he's been thinking about it, and BTW, he's doing a book signing over at Virgin Megastore Downtown Disney on the 26th if anyone's interested. I can't go due to work but figured I'd pass the word along. As for Shawn Michaels, even Triple H is having trouble convincing him to come back, but a title run and match with Triple H might make up his mind real quick.

And to Cat, Undertaker is unfortunatly on Smackdown, so it's unlikely he would take the top spot on Raw. Although since Batista is champion on Smackdown, and they seem content to keep shoving Kali in our faces and stick Undertaker in matches with Mark Henry, it might be cool if he just came over to Raw and said, "Hey, I'm champion now". Sgt. Slaughter though, nah. Mainly because Orton already 'killed' that legend, and to then have Slaughter win a championship over him is a bit of a stretch.

Is it really any more of a stretch than Hulk Hogan defeating Andre the Giant? (Let alone him body slamming the big man. I mean, c'mon, Andre wasn't kidding when he said he had almost forgotten how to fight one man.)

Ooo! Better thought... dig Jake the Snake out of whatever hole he's crawled into, pair him with Jimmy Hart as megaphone weilding manager, and stuff the leprauchan under the ring for that special "shilleleigh!!" moment.

It's only a stretch because Sgt. Slaughter is about as old as Vince... who looks his age only around his cheeky jowls.
