Hi

Must admit, I am not a star-trek fan. Think the movies may be fun, but reading your blog, I have to admit you use a lot of Star-trek lingo. And most of it I don't understand. BUT what I really wanted to say was I hope you get somebody that understands and love this as much as you do. And good luck with the forum!!!! See there is much more to it than I ever thought.

Thanks for posting even though you're not a Trekker! LOL! I liked your poem on Avatar on your blog. If you can get into Avatar, you can start appreciating sci-fi in general, and there is no better place to start than with Star Trek! It's all about people, it's all a comment on humanity, our shortcomings, failings, and truimphs, and MOSTLY Star Trek is about all the things we WISH we would be, both in our dealings with each other, and with our universe. Gene Rodenberry's vision of the universe in the future was a place where everyone strived to respect everyone else, and even when we all didn't 'get along', the intentions were noble!:) I'll make a Trekker of you yet! :) See you for coffee soon.
