Hovis was horrified. He glared at the mirror hoping the reflection would change. It had to be grogginess from the op, or better yet a nightmare. Hovis would wake up any minute now and the mirror would be a harmless glass showing his cute furry cat self and not this monstrosity. A weird effects mirror like you saw at fun-fairs, that could be it! Inching in any direction didn't change the image

Oh Crazycanuck you aimed so well with this prompt and Meep rose to the temptation and produced this great addition to the collection. *GRINS* Yeah, I'd say that the layering translates to his human form too if he's got one. There are some very odd human hair cuts/sculpts. People carve words into their hair and star shapes and ... odd things. Meep caught the pitifulness of the cat in the photo. I hope that he coughs up a furball onto someone's pillows. It would fit. Grooming to minimize the exotic fur cut.

Poor Hovis, but he certainly got a good thing from a horrid haircut.

Edit: Oh! And, consider me an ignorant Canuck, but what's the joke in the name Hovis?

I thought afterwards that was probably a British thing. oops. Hovis is a popular brand of sliced bread here.
