It's the name. Alternative versions include "Alan Force, HERO OF THE PEOPLE", and "Alan Force, ha-HA!".

All revision and no maelstrom makes James go crazy is also a valid explanation.

ahhhh.... *that* kind of huh... I initially read it as a less positive response. :) probably best to try and avoid saying that every time you write his name unless putting off your fellow biologists is part of your game plan ;)

He has a really nice theory about how gene duplication can lead to increased complexity. It is called the Dual Degeneration Complementation theory, which leads me to suspect that he might have been playing too much Exalted around the time of its creation.
