Okay, I really just have to say--SIXTY-EIGHT MINUTE SERMON?!

Seriously, man, the Sermon on the Mount was like twenty minutes tops. What does a person have to say for 68 minutes?

He was on a roll, I guess. ;-)

Seriously, though...from what I've heard, people were glued to their seats the entire time.

After listening to this message, I understand why -- it's one of the most powerful messages I've ever heard.

I should have mentioned this in the post, but Dr. Platt's only 28 years old. Pretty young for a pastor. He has a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Theology (Th.M.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, so he definitely has the credentials to teach.

Paul said, "Folow me as i follow christ" and vice versa... i accept that we are all human and humans are flawed and that doesn't reflect poorly on God, it just means that we need to work hard at keeping our personal relationship with Christ where it needs to be and keep our eyes on God not on other people. We have all sinned.
