Awww! Poor Jack having to go through that, and poor Ianto, being punished for trying to spare Jack the memory of just one really agonising death. Jack may say he's used to it, but I don't believe it doesn't affect him deeply every time. So much pain and horror, and Ianto wanted to take that away just that once, because he loves Jack.

Aww this was lovely.
Made me LOL a few times - He occasionally barked at Ianto, but only for sport. and Jack's 'proper' telling off, hehe :D
Poor Jack though, must be terrible to feel exactly how a friend died. Good job he has Ianto to take care of him, even if he gets it wrong sometimes.
