The Thing You Love Most 1X2

Summary: Regina does everything in her power to force Emma out of Storybrooke and out of her and Henry's lives forever. Meanwhile, the chilling circumstances of how the Evil Queen released the curse upon the fairytale world is revealed.

Ilsa's thoughts: This episode remains one of my favorites for several reasons:

I love Henry's joy at how his 'crazy idea' of bringing Emma to Storybrooke is actually working.

I get all warm and fuzzy when Mary Margaret reveals that Henry thinks she is Snow White- Emma's reaction is pricelss!

All the Emma/Regina one-ups are soo much fun to watch! It's like they are playing an elaborate game.

Regina/Evil Queen is absolutely captivating to watch. One second she's oozing pure evil, the next crying tears from a broken heart. She really is a bi-polar psycopath and yet so human in her emotional struggles to justify her actions... And Maleficent is just awesome!

I cried when I watched the scene between Emma and Henry in Archie's office near the end. Emma stepping up, being a real mother and putting aside her doubts and suspicions to do what's needed to help her son. And then the hug... *sniffle*

But the thing I loved most pun intended in this episode is the final scene between Regina and Mr. Gold. The revelations that Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin remembers everything and the he is the one who 'procured' Henry for Regina in the first place. That final scene spawned some of the most awesome fanfic ever.

What are the things you loved most or least about this episode?
