Ah, right. She did need to get back to the.. ah, estate, didn't she? He nodded grabbed his jacket, his house keys, and his cigarettes before looping his arm through her's.
"All right then," he replied, nodding. "Do this the right way -- you know how to get there better than I do."
After all, he wasn't going to waste travel faire to take a girl home when they could apparate for free. Psh.
James paused, pondering just what he wanted. Hmm. He could... tell him to stay away from Andra. That was his standard, wasn't it? Or... he could force some sort of arrangement out of him with that delightful maid.
Hmm.
No, he decided against that. He decided to simply call for a raincheck. He did so enjoy it when people owed him.
"I leave now... but when I call on you, you owe me. Whatever it is. Understood?" His brow rose, and his foot rose up one of the steps as a reminder that he would certainly run amuck through this poncy house.
Oh, Alec just didn't play that little owe game. He stepped back, brow slightly quirked in a challenging manner, and motioned up the stairs with grandeur.
"Well. Thankfully a few security guards could easily take care of a tosser such as yourself, Mr Sanford." No no. Alec just didn't owe anyone anything. It wasn't the way he operated.
With teeth grating against her lip, Anne-Laurie all but completely blew past them, quickly making her way up the staircase. She had been summoned to Mr Fiddlesticks' office, of course, and knew what was coming. Adored in her uniform, with long black hair pulled into two braids, she glanced down at the two for only a moment as worry showed on her face.
And Alec was, quite possibly, more pissed than ever.
Ahhh, pity he didn't want to play James' game. He might've enjoyed it. He'd had a sinking feeling that he'd need someone to distract his dear Andra from Simon, and Alec would have been quite the bait.
But, alas! He was not interested.
"All right, I've got a cute black-and-white uniform to be following," he replied, grinning as he trudged up the stairs, following that adorable bum.
Security guards? Bring 'em on. It was a fun day indeed if James got thrown out of some place.
Alec was worried that by the time his reign of terror reached Patrick's door, he'd be giving in to the little deal indeed. With a sigh, he tugged his gloves up a bit tighter and took off after him.
She was almost shaking as she quickly straightened out her apron and brought a hand up to make sure her hair was absolutely perfect. Teeth grated against the corner of her bottom lip, and her eyes were absolutely wide with worry. Just down the hall, she could see is office door open, ready for her to go in.
James hit the landing at the top of the stairs, then grinned like a kid in a candy store as he looked from the left to the right. Hmm.
"Noooow. Which way, Jeeves?" he asked, grinning as he turned around to face the man that had inevitably been following him. "Seems my little tart is heading thattaway," he added, gesturing toward the office, "but what's down route number two?"
"Bedrooms," Alec answered honestly as he moved to James' side. With a gloved hand, he thumbed in the other direction, though. "But I'm sure you'll find that neither are in their bedrooms at the moment, considering that the office door is open."
At that point, he knew that no matter what, James was going end up getting to someone. If he had a choice, he'd much rather it be Ben than Pat. At least Ben could hold is own. That, and maybe it'd be a distraction from Anne-Laurie, giving him enough time to work his magic to get her forgiven for what she had done.
James snorted at Alec. "I doubt that," he replied, rolling his eyes. He'd heard the voices upstairs. It didn't sound like Pat was heading off to wherever his father went.
"I think we'll take this path," he replied, grinning as he headed toward the bedrooms.
Hell, if he got lucky, he'd walk in on some other fiesty little maid. That would end well, wouldn't it? He smirked, knocking once on each door as he passed by.
Not one single door got opened as he made his way down the hall. The relief was evident in Alec's expression as he followed behind him. Of course! It was noon, and most of the maids were taking their lunch break down in the kitchen.
He could only hope that Pat was down in the dining room, eating as well.
But his worst fear came true as James knocked on Patrick's own door and continued on...
...and seconds later, the door opened. "...I thought I told everyone to bugger off for a few minutes..." he muttered as he stuck his head out the door.
"Jackpot!" James cried as he heard that poncy voice. He whirled around, grinning as he headed back toward Pat. "Pattie-boy!!!" he cried, tossing his arm around the young blonde's shoulders.
"Long time no see! Look, I was just trying to get Jeeves to find you for me and he not-so-politely declined. Terrible staff you've got, really -- oh, except that one lass. Anne-Laurie. Brilliant girl, deserves a raise."
Patrick's eyes slowly closed as he realised who it was. James bloody Sanford. As the man tossed his arm around Patrick's shoulder, the boy stiffened. This was incredibly unamusing. Finally, his eyes opened and a very, very less-than-pleasant look was given to Alec.
"What the bloody hell are you doing in my house, Jimmy?"
Alec brought his hands up in the air, as if in surrender, and shook his head. "I tried to make him leave."
"You didn't try hard enough," Patrick shot back, irritation in his tone.
At the mentioning of Anne-Laurie, however, both Pat and Alec's attentions returned to James. It was quite possible that steam was rolling from Alec's ears at that point, and Pat looked ready to toss him out a window. "...she what?" he asked.
Patrick's immediate reaction was the blurt out "YOU BLOODY SHAGGED MY MAID?!" in a disbelieving tone.
Oh, this was too insane even for him.
"How th-- I don-- Why in th--- HOW DID YOU SHAG MY MAID?!"
It just wasn't even making sense to him. Anne-Laurie never left the house, and James didn't exactly know where Patrick lived. Surely Andra wouldn't have sent him over with the goal of maid-shagging, would she of? Of course not.
He shook his head, bringing a hand up to his forehead. The only thing he had to say? "...at least she's legal..", which earned a snort from Alec.
James would have rubbed his hands together in anticipation for this little confrontation if it wouldn't look too diabolical. So he grinned, his best, most dazzling grin, then shrugged languidly.
"Was pretty easy. Jeeves here dropped off Andra's things, she wandered into my room, liked what she saw." He wriggled his eyebrows, so utterly amused. Oh, Pattie boy wanted to peg him as the one who seduced her, when it was nearly the other way arou--
Did Alec just snort at that nancy-boy's comment???
His eyes cut to the butler, dangerously cold. "If you two are less-than-kindly referring to Andra, I'd like to remind you that legal or not, you both have kissed her."
He made sure to give Alec good eye contact before turning his gaze back to Pat. Oh, this would be good, wouldn't it?
"At least when we kissed her, she was past the age of nin-- what, what?"
Alec coughed, balling a fist up to cover his lips as his eyes widened. He had never killed a man before in his life, but chances were that the second there were no witnesses, James was going to find himself hanging in the kitchen freezers. He didn't dare look up to see the glare Patrick was giving him.
For Patrick, there were two big problems with this statement: A) Alec brought Andra's stuff to her? No no. He instructed them to leave it be until he could find some satisfactory way to destroy it all. B) Alec kissed AndraFortunately for him, while Pat couldn't stand to lie, Alec could. "Don't assume that things have happened when they have not." he instructed James coldly, eyeing him just as dangerously
( ... )
"Girlfriend?" James snorted, rolling his eyes. "Andra hasn't given me the time of day since she and Simon have been the best of mates. But if I'm to go find myself someone, it'll be that delightful little French maid you've got holed up in here."
He grinned, then turned to Alec with raised eyebrows.
"Didn't your mum ever tell you to not lie?" he asked, quite seriously. While James was manipulative and crude, he didn't lie. That much was certain.
"I've not assumed a thing; Andra came whinging at me about it like she was feeling something she didn't want to feel and I told her to bugger off." He scoffed, then rolled his eyes.
"All right then," he replied, nodding. "Do this the right way -- you know how to get there better than I do."

He grinned, inching that way instead.
"Could it be Massa' Fiddlesticks' humble room?"

He shook his head, rather unamused by the fact that he had to spell it out for them. Idiots.
"A hard-on. Full staff. Soldier's salute. Et cetera, my God, you two do have dicks, don't you? Merlin."
He shook his head, feeling rather disappointed by this little meeting. Wasn't quite as thrilling as he'd hoped.
