Date/Time: 'The Shady Aftermath', Sunday, November 1st, Morning Location: Hogsmeade Station, waiting for the first train out. Open To: Anyone Currently involving: Li
She had given up on trying to make him stop singing long ago. "Now my life is rosie! Since I've found my Rosie!" Savannah was not, however, going to give up and allow Li to out-noise her. She was going to sing at the top of her lungs, and in her best American accent. "Oh we'll have us a home out west! A nice, little split level nest!" So what if other people nearby got annoyed? "And in every room, roses and blooms! But there's one rose sweeter than ALL of the rest!" Today was the perfect occasion to sing the ending number from Birdie and she was going to sing it if it killed her.
She could still almost feel Li's kiss, and although he was still her best mate, it felt... odd being near him. It was almost as if she felt like she needed to say something about it, but didn't have the words or the courage to bring it back up again. So she acted like even more of a complete oddball than she normally did in hopes that nobody would notice. "LIFE IS ONE, SWEET, BEAUTIFUL SONG TO ME!"
"THE HILLS ARE ALIIIIIIIVE! WITH BIG ROCKS AND BOULDERS!" Refusing to be outdone, Li stood on top of his trunk and all but shouted out the one tune he most loved to butcher. "AND SONGS WE HAVE SUNG! AFTER A THOUSAND BEERS
( ... )
Savannah smirked. "So, I see thou hast given up!" She struck a dramatic pose. "'Twas pure foolishness that led you to believe you could defeat all that is Savannah Nately at a singing-loudly contest!" At this point she started giggling madly and did a few ballet steps around her general area before dramatically stage-falling over onto the ground beside where Li was sitting.
Yes, she knew she was being even more hyper than normal, but she couldn't think of another way to cope with the situation. She only sincerely hoped that Li couldn't tell she was acting this way, else that might bring up some questions she was not quite ready to answer as of just yet. Taking a glance up at Li to see what he was doing, Savannah was shocked to see that he looked... upset. "Li?" she asked, "Is something wrong?"
"Hmm? Oh! No, I'm fine." Distracted from his reverie, Li gave Savannah a brief smile - the kind he often gave when he just didn't want people to worry. He really was alright, though, if feeling a little pensive.
"But, I don't know. Is anything wrong?" He was suddenly looking at her very meaningfully. Was he just being a smart-aleck, or was he genuinely asking a question?
