Chamberlayne had indeed followed her, because he knew that the moment that the Governors walked in, she would feel like exploding and killing them. As soon as she'd stood, he'd stood as well, and strode after her, following to her quarters.

He pushed the door shut as he entered them, and eyed her for a moment before dropping onto the couch next to her. He didn't speak, but just watched her. Everything about her posture said that she was not a happy Genie.

"FUCKING BASTARDS!" she growled out the second his bottom hit the sofa. She grabbed up the throw pillow that sat between them and immediately pitched it across the room. Genie was rarely ever this incredibly pissed off. She tended to hide her feelings behind other ones, such as replacing anger with snark or a cool, bitchy grin. Right now, though? Her absolute anger showed in everything she did. "Fucking.. fucking Lucius Malfoy? Gaddo Klaus?!"

She looked at Chamberlayne, steam practically pouring from her nose. "No wonder everything in ths school is so utterly fucked up! Barty Crouch hasn't the nad to talk down a fucking beetle, better yet two Death Eaters! No wonder. No wonder. They're doing this just to oust Albus, because they know the only way they'd be able to have Hogwarts without him would be to make a specticle of it all.. to make it look as if Albus' control over the situation really had advanced to the point that they had to close the school. They don't even need to!"

It did seem quite stupid for two Death Eaters to be inspecting the school, especially with everything that had happened. Chamberlayne wasn't sure if he should say anything, because really, he'd never seen her this angry before. He didn't want his head ripped off, after all.

But he said quietly, "Albus will handle this; he knows what he's doing." He ran a hand through his hair, watching her.

Genie's nose actually flared. She crossed arms tightly over her chest and sat back, facing front. It almost looked as if was, well, pouting. "What if he doesn't?" she asked quickly, tone clipped and short. "What if Albus can't handle it, can't fix it. Then what? Then what?! They'll go off to Durmstrang or some other school where they will be even further away from the protection of the Order, and we'll all be put out of our jobs and it will really, really complicate things for our side of the war."

She brought hands up, pressing fingertips against her temples as her eyes closed. It was a hard truth to swallow - if the school closed Nov. 1st, they will have all but completely lost the war.
