Date/Time: JARS of DOOM~; Tuesday, September 15th, Late Evening Location: Corridors, after Patrol Open to: Laurence, Cordelia, Malone, Bastian, & Ronnie
Bastian glanced at Veronica as they walked through the corridors to meet with Laurence, Cordelia, and Malone. He wasn't sure what all of this was about exactly. He knew it had something to do with jars and blood, but...
Well, he just wasn't sure. He was about to ask her if she knew what was going on, but he noticed the small group standing in the corridor, and instead took Veronica's hand and sidled up beside them.
He nodded to them in greeting, and squeezed Veronica's hand. He hoped this wasn't going to be anything that took too long.
Cordelia nodded, wringing hands over her chest. "Er.. yes, they'd remember. They'd not forget. This is important, and all." She nodded again, more to herself than anything else, then began to pace again. "Okay. I'll er.. have you cut me, then I'll um.. you know, leak my own blood, or what have you, so you can join us in with your own. Alright?"
She paused, looking at him with brows raised. "Would that be fine? I mean.. do you mind, and all..?"
"Should we perhaps go in sort of.. descending order?.." he trailed off, swallowing a bit as he realized how horrible it sounded. "You, then Bastian, Veronica, myself, Malone?"
He reached up to brush hair off his forehead, swallowing a bit nervously. "Just so that... You know, we'll see the differences? Pureblood, half-blood, muggle blood."
He gestured around the group, accentuating his thoughts with points at each member.
"Makes sense," Ronnie said, shrugging lightly. "Brought a knife, let's do this thing right." She tossed the sheathed blade to Laurence, him catching it easily and sliding it out with a slow metal-ringing sound.
She nodded to Cordelia, eyes finally showing a bit more worry.
Knife. Blood. Ohh. Bastian suddenly understood a bit more about what was going on, and he wasn't quite sure that he liked this. It sounded too much like--
His memories.
Taking a deep breath, he looked at Cordelia, biting his lip. Shit, he did not like this at all. They'd... they couldn't possibly understand what was going on, could they?
They must not. Otherwise, they wouldn't need to do this test.
