There's something about the way you write, and the language you use when you write that just utterly consumes me as I'm reading what you write. And it feels especially poignant in a story about Blaine as a writer. In some ways the Blaine you write is completely different than the one I see, but the way you write him makes him so utterly believable and real to me. I think you have a wonderful gift for seeing what Blaine could be, and it's amazing and wonderful to immerse myself in.

Hey, this is Monica!Anon hahah.

So, I know that for a while you struggled with the idea of how to focus on the fact that Blaine was a writer, and how that was what you wanted the cornerstone of this story to be. Guess what, my friend? You did it. Totally, 100 hundred percent, this feels like a story ABOUT Blaine as a writer, not just a story in which Blaine happens to be a writer. It is so good, and you're so talented, and I hope you know that. You totally overcame the challenges you foresaw, and it is so amazingly done. Congrats, my friend :)

GAH! it's a good thing you posted the epilogue with this cause if you had just posted this one on it's own? the sheer heartbreak in this would be grounds for a divorce. i'm just saying. Gah woman you kill me

"Life's not like that, it's not a novel."
This line just really resonated with me, because I've thought about that sentiment a lot. Maybe it's because I want to be a writer myself, or maybe because I enjoy literature and reading a lot. I've always just wanted to believe there was a concrete (and hopefully happy) ending to conflicts people tend to face, no loose ends, like novels provide, in life too.

Anyways, this story is gorgeous and I adore it. Off to read the epilogue!
