Nah. Well, yeah, you may be, but she's still a beautiful baby. When are you lot bringing her home? Would it be forward of me to ask if I could come by and give you a baby gift?
She is, yes. I am, now. It was a very long week, everyone was so worried and I never want to see Star Labs again once they finally let me leave. But I have my three people and I think an entire department taking care of us.
I'm sorry it took so long to reply. I've been really busy! And my mun was sick and distracted! We're home now and I hope you can come visit.
I was not in labor too long but they brought me into the hospital days before. There were a lot of questions and I am the only Thanagarian mother any of them have dealt with and... well, it was a lot of worry over nothing, I think! But that's done and she is here and perfect.
She was not born with wings, but her bone structure ... she could get them later. My people have been born with wings for generations but not always. And because of her father, she could grow them at puberty.
You may babysit! I don't think we will be leaving her soon, though.
That's pretty cool! Though I'm trying to imagine you two dealing with a teenage girl who can fly out her bedroom window when she tries to sneak out. Good luck with that.

That's good. I'm sure it'll feel great to be home after all of this; were you in labor long? Gosh, I hope not.

I know, she is! Thank you, Wally.
