You did a fantastic and totally believable job of writing this from Jon's point of view, but I am so much more viscerally pleased with all the little observations about Adrian's character -- and character flaws.

And this brings me the warm and fuzzy glow of good writing doing good things* that is my bread and butter.

And you are amazing and I have no idea how you pulled this off so well, but you did.

"For both of us. You can stay here now, help me keep the world as it's supposed to be-- I'm sure it won't be difficult to keep you hidden." Adrian pauses, seeming to realize that Jon is not answering. "Jon," he says, lower.

Hysterical. Giggles. Of. Pure. Emotional. Saturation. Seriously.

*Yep, you'd better believe super-intelligent and/or super-human sexing/power fuckery is good things.

<333 Your feedback was kind of the most important since you're the reason I actually wrote this rather than idly toying with the idea and then forgetting about it, so. BASICALLY, I'm really glad you liked it so much.

Also, Adrian is stupid.

That is to say, thank you. :D ♥

What's interesting about your pointing out Matthew Goode and Billy Crudup nailing Jon/Adrian's relationship is the fact that these two men did not get along AT ALL for about the first six months of production of the film. I read in an interview with Billy Crudup - Matthew would not stop taunting him about the LED body suit that he had to wear in order for the effects guys to turn him into Doc Manhattan, and it got to the point where Billy got in Matthew's face and was like, "I'm thinking of all the ways that I could kill you right now." Naturally, that didn't go over so well, either. What I'm trying to say here is that, while you are correct - it's really, really ironic. =)

Aw, I would but it wasn't online. It was in TV Guide's issue from March 2nd-8th. I guess they did a special on it too, but I don't really watch the TV Guide channel....I just look to see what's gonna be on Discovery, heh.
