Petal 6 - Video
[The video comes on to show Aya and Umi sitting back to back. Wrapped around them are wires meant to look like rose vines with long thorns. Along the vines are red and white roses. Both are already bleeding. Aya is the first to stir and look around. His eyes narrow as he glances back to see Umi.] Umi. You need to wake up.
Wha...? Ouch. Eh...? Aya? What on-? What the hell is this thing?? [Umi struggles to break free of the vines but only manages to hurt herself further.] It can't be...! One of those things...!
[He grunts as the thorns drive into him from her struggle.] Umi, I need you to stay calm. Struggling isn't going to help. [Right then, a tape clicks on...]
Aya, Umi, you two have a lot in common. You're both murderers who work with pretty flowers for a living. You're very close to each other too. Umi, you've been clinging to Aya ever since he returned. Aya, you're quite overprotective of this young lady. You've called yourselves close enough to be family. So enjoy your closeness now, because these could be the last minutes you spend together alive. You've killed before, but can you kill your precious person to save yourselves? Think fast. The thorny rose vines around you will fasten and stab the two of you if you don't make the right decision. Enjoy your time together.
[Aya frowns as Umi starts talking.] No way... DOES THIS PLACE THINK WE'LL BUY INTO THAT?? [Umi's face shows both horror and rage, but the latter seems stronger. Mostly for Aya's sake.] Like hell I'm going to hurt you!! Hold on. We're getting out of here our own way...
[A bright blue light surrounds her as her icy aura begins to gather, frost appearing on the tip of the large thorns. Almost instantly Aya's face contorts in pain and his back arches. At first he gasps then he lets out a sharp cry as he goes rigid like there's electricity running through him.]
---AYA?! What's wrong?? What happened?! [Umi's concentration shatters at once, and with it the blue aura fades and the frost vanishes. She tries to turn around to see what happened to Aya without driving the thorns deeper into either of them.] Please...! Don't...
[Aya slumps panting then moves to sit up straighter so the thorns don't hurt her too badly.] I'm...alright. I think your magic is against the rules though.
[Umi's eyes go wide with shock despite the streak of blood leaking into them.] ...Did my magic do that to you...?
Aya... What--? How are we getting out of here...? [The shock on her face quickly fades into determination] I can't let this happen to you!
Just stay calm, Umi. We'll get out of this. [Despite the situation, he gives her a smile.] I promise.
[And the video suddenly cuts off.]
[ooc: Aya and Umi got themselves stuck in a SAW curse for Grab Bag. Aya is red and Umi is blue there. The replies for this will take place after the two have escaped the trap and are heading for the hospital. This gives us the chance to finish up our plot. Feel free to help them get there!]
