According to Cult Box Merlin returns to BBC One on Saturday 1st October 2011.

It's been a long, hard hiatus, you guys. I'm going to start my preparatory marathon today and get myself good and squeed up.

Two weeks seems so far away!!! I know the first couple of episodes aren't going to have much of our bb Angel (boo) but I'm still unbelievably excited for the new series to FINALLY begin <3

Judging by all the filming she did in PF am sure we'll get plenty of Gwen after the first 2 eps.
