[Written?]

[While looking over his lovely Christmas gift from the now absent Bil statue, Yuri got a little distracted. ... Well, less "distracted" and more that he remembered that he was supposed to be making lunch for the house right about then. So, not wanting the incriminating thing to escape into the wilds of Luceti somehow (or at the very ( Read more... )

it was only jailbreak; really!, but it totally wasn't that bad!, he'll blame this on the curse too, and some other things, worth ten thousand gald folks, or maybe it was, okay maybe trespassing too

Sounds like somebody could use a haircut.

[A while later, he comes back to this while removing the poster. ... And is fairly confused by it.]

... What are you talking about?

[Wait.

Wait.

... Oh dammit, this thing didn't seriously--]

You've gotta be kidding me ... It seriously showed all that off?

[Yuri glances over for a moment while chopping some onions, then goes back to focusing on what he's doing. He doesn't really need any help with anything, but seeing as he's already late ... well, he might as well accept it.]

Well, you can start the rice, if you want. [Tilting his head in the direction of the set-up-but-not-yet-started rice.]

Yeah, you're right. [chop chop chop] It'll be getting noisy again pretty soon, with them coming in, so we might as well enjoy the quiet while we still can.

[Vicious fugitive, huh? The physical description is kind of familiar, but the rest doesn't exactly match. Interesting-]

Isn't it kinda pointless to offer a reward in a place that doesn't use money?

[No, totally not interesting. Put it out of your mind, Zack D| ... Although, he was pardoned for what he did, so maybe he doesn't need to dance around it too much.]

In this place, yeah. This thing came from somewhere else, though.

A little blast from the past, huh? [Now he's amused. The response confirms the most likely identity of the ad, too, which just makes it more funny.]

[Man, was it really that easy to figure out? ... No wonder they had such a hard time back then. Regardless, Yuri sighs at that.]

... You figured it out that quickly, huh? [Slight pause, then--] Yeah, it's something like that. I would've forgotten about it completely if it didn't end up coming back to haunt me.

And what crimes did this vicious fugitive commit?

[Voiced because writing is for people who are not Yuri Lowell--]

Just jailbreak, really. [... Let's ignore the 18 or more other crimes he was charged with. They had nothing to do with the poster, anyway.]

And they're willing to put out a 10,000 dollar reward for that? Yeesh.

Well, they made up a few other things to go along with it, but let's just say they were pretty desperate for any leads on this guy.

Thanks for the information; I'll be on the look-out for someone of that description. [The whole "reward" thing is a bit confusing, since there's no money here anyways, but work is work, and she'd want to get a dangerous fugitive off the streets as soon as possible.]

[Oh dammit no--]

No need for that. That vicious criminal already paid his debt to society and was pardoned for his crimes. He won't cause any trouble anymore. [... Not in Luceti, at least.]

...I see. Then why was a reward for his capture just broadcast across the journals a few minutes ago? I doubt that he'd be pardoned that quickly.

... That was a mistake. Just ignore it. [... Although, if Erza looks at the little picture in the journal, she might notice that this guy is male, has long dark hair, is wearing black clothing, and the front buttons of it are open.]
