Time passes pretty quickly in this place when you're not paying attention. Kinda makes me wonder what goes on back home while I'm stuck here. You know, whether time stops or keeps going or ... whatever. If eight months passed there too, then I really hope someone did something about that little problem we have there.

It's likely that time pauses or moves at an incredibly slow rate back in our relative homeworlds. If it did not, then it would make the time differences between some people...improbable, at best. Although it's only a theory.
