[Much like Yuri, Emil's been out patrolling around town and the forest right outside pretty much all of his waking hours (and some hours in which he should be asleep, as is evidenced by the dark circles under his eyes). He's going to be useful somehow, dammit!

When he sees the figure approaching him, however, he freezes like a deer in the headlights.]

[Another fruitless patrol. Yuri's about ready to head back to town when he hears someone coming. He doesn't bother reaching for his sword yet -- he's wearing the Garm Fang, so he can just nail any attackers that way. However, judging by the bright green eyes and blond hair he's seeing through the darkness, it's pretty obvious who's there, and that they can't see him very well.

... Too bad for Emil, Yuri's in some dire need of entertainment and not the kind he gets from Judy late at night. Sorry kid.

Regardless, he smirks, shifting while he stops to make it even more difficult to identify who he is (especially with all the black he wears).]

[It seems that all of Marta's telling him to "be a man" and Richter's attempts to toughen him up were for naught-- upon hearing that yell, Emil's very first response is to let out a scream and jump like a frightened rabbit.]

[Once he lands, he immediately scrambles backwards, fumbling for the handle of his sword at the same time.]

[Yeah, that sounded convincing. He's almost succeeded in getting a grip on his sword handle when his heel hits a tree root and he falls backwards, landing hard on his butt.]

[Aww, poor Emil. Yuri almost feels bad for scaring him. Almost. After Emil falls on his ass, Yuri takes a few steps forward. It ... should be easier to tell that it's him there. If anything, his voice will give it away now.]

You shouldn't be wandering around late at night by yourself if you scare that easily.

[For the sake of the thread being longer than like. Three comments, we'll say he's coming back. And on his way towards the house, he can definitely feel someone watching him. That's ... kind of eerie when it's dark out and there's a million kidnappings going on all over the place.

It's usually a little quieter, unless someone comes up with some bright idea. It can get kind of boring at times too, but that's just the way life is.

Someone suggested throwing a party, so that's one idea. I can't really think of much else that wouldn't take days of preparation from people who are actually in the mood to do things like that.

... Besides, I don't think we've got anything around that we could use to set up a hot spring. [Actually, there is one up in the mountains, but like ... hardly anyone knows about it 8|]
