Peter didn't remember waking up, but he refused to move in case he might wake Willow.  She always looked so tired now, and he knew it was hard for her to find a position comfortable enough to fall asleep in.  Either that or the minute she fell asleep, the baby started moving around, and as proud as he was that it seemed their son was strong and

Willow was sleeping. Which was good since she was tired and her back hurt and did you know how hard it was to find a comfortable position when you had an entire person on you and not in a fun way?

Not that she was sleeping entirely peacefully. Willow had so much fretting to do that she was getting some in in her dreams. There just weren't enough hours in the day for her to fret properly.

Peter pressed a kiss to shoulder, his hand brushing down her arm again, hoping to soothe her into a more restful sleep.

This might have worked, except she was close to being awake anyway. She slowly blinked her eyes to focus on Peter - or as much as she could focus in the dark. "Sweetie?"

"It's me," he said quietly. "You should go back to sleep. It's still very early."
