But she's trying for a sneakier approach. Or well, sort of. Not from the front of the house facing the street, but after seeing him from a distant, roundabout behind the house and trying to come in from a blind spot on the side.
That said, she doesn't aim a gun or anything, just wave and make her presence known, but she did just come out from behind the house]
[Yuri looks over at the direction the voice is coming from, fairly quickly at that -- he usually can tell when someone's around after all. Repede just about mirrors the action, although he's staring a bit more intently than Yuri is.
... He doesn't relax too much when he sees who it is, though. ... And why was she coming out from back there. That. That is kind of eerie.]
[Repede doesn't know this person, and that action looked suspicious to him, so he's rising to his feet and starting to let out a low growl. Yuri stands as well, sighing a little. ... And keeping his hand on his sword, rather than holding it from the bit of rope that's usually attached to the sheath of it.]
[Sighing now. Repede stops growling when she moves her hand away from her weapon, but he still seems on-edge. Yuri relaxes his grip on his own weapon just a bit, too.]
[He glances down at Repede when she looks toward him. Pooka? ... Well, whatever. The dog sits, seemingly starting to relax, but he's still staring at her.] ... His name's Repede. He's my partner, not whatever you said.
... He's a dog, actually. [He'd get into how he feels Repede is a special kind of dog because he's not like the others and he "doesn't think of himself as one" and blahblahblah, but he's got a feeling now is not the time.]

... Oh. Hey.

[That's a jovial enough greeting, right? Said with a smile as she keeps on walking over... and puts a hand to the pistol holster at her side]

You mind putting off? I'm a little busy for now.

[As she takes another few steps... and then takes her hand off the gun. And she smiles]

That's ... comforting. I think.
Anyway, what are you doing here?

[This is said casually... she even shrugs]

Well, if you do, I'll try to take it as a compliment.

[And then she jerks her head at Repede] Who's the pooka?
