Cair Paravel: Sunday Late Morning - Afternoon

None of the Narnians  were really getting up terribly early after the wedding, but once people were up and moving about, a brunch was laid out in one of the 'family' (i.e. not quite so enormous) dining rooms for all the Fandom guests before the portals started taking people back to their homes.

The good mood from yesterday had carried over to today

"Try the... things." Xander points to something he can't remotely identify, that contains chocolate, which is really all he needs to know. "They're awesome."

"It's not I ever expected it to happen in the first place, though," Xander says, trying to reason himself out. "And it is different in your dimension, and that's where we live."

"Before they decided to make it illegal again?" That would be the bitterness he's been trying to swallow all weekend, and, up to now, doing a pretty frakking good job of it if he does say so himself.

Bridge tries- and mostly succeeds- to control the flinch at the bitterness of Xander's tone. "Among other things, yeah."

"Still hurts, though," Bridge says. "That five million people times God knows how many alternate realities thinks that you and I don't deserve to be married."

Xander's only immediate reply is a slow nod. Then, "Yeah. But y'know. None of those people are here. Hell, half the people here were at our wedding."

"There is that," Bridge agrees with a small smile. "And no wild horses or, or, fauns, or Krybots are gonna drag me away from you. Said it before and I'll say it again. You're stuck with me for life, mister."

"My connections don't stop at royalty, you know. I'm also in pretty good with the police force. I'm sure they won't turn us in."
