Sunday night, Jen decided to get a hotel room at a hotel near the hospital.  She desperately needs to shower and decompress and sleep in a real bed, even if it just ends up being one night.  She's starting to not feel human anymore.  The first thing she does when she gets into the room is take a long shower; it does amazing things for her

Jethro was still in the bathroom so Daniel slid across the bed and grabbed the phone. "Gibbs residence, Daniel speaking."

"Hi sweetheart," she says. The sound of his voice and his wonderful greeting instantly puts a smile on her face. "Did you and Dad have a good time at Ducky's?"

He sprawled out on his belly to talk with her,"Yeah, it was awesome. Ducky knew all kinds of stories and his mom was crazy but funny. She said all kinds of stuff that Dad says I can't repeat. I liked all her dogs too."

She laughs softly, "Yeah, Mrs. Mallard is fun. Did you know Ducky met your Dad before I did? They go way back." Jen decides to get up and move to the bed; she's had enough of being tucked into chairs.
