The house has been relatively quiet and Jen is somewhat grateful for it.  But she also suspects Liz knows what happened last night.  Usually, her absence around the house would trigger at least a text from Liz, but there's been nothing all day.  Not that Jen wants to talk to anyone today, but the silence makes her feel that much more unsettled.

Jethro slowly made his way to the bedroom no matter what he wanted to check on Jen. He stopped at the bedroom door and looked in at her having to lean against the door frame. He was tired, hurting, and somewhere in all that he was angry. His fingers traced the pill bottle in his pants pocket knowing he should take one.

It's impossible to sneak up on people in this house. The creaky floor boards give them away every time. She looks over her right shoulder towards the door, though she can't really see him. "I know you're there," she says softly.

"Just wanted to check on you,"he stepped a little further into the room where she could see him.

"I'm fine," she says, looking at him for a moment. For whatever reason, she's mad at him. She knows she doesn't even have a right to be, but she is. She's blaming him for a lot of things, like it's his fault he ended up in the emergency room last night. After a moment, she sits up. She's been laying down for too long. "You don't look too good," she adds.
