i don't know what to say. a little over a year ago i almost gave it all up, depressed over my lack of ambition/talent in music. i was ready to sell all my stuff and just call it a day. i don't even remember why. i wrote a song that day and the next day young came over. i told him i was really depressed about music in general, and that i was thinking about giving up music. then i played him the song. he paused a few seconds, and then said, "you wrote that song and you're thinking about giving up music?"

so i didn't. i hope the same can happen for you.
