Battleship sounds fun! Navy plus Taylor Kitsch is a win-squared combination.

ALL THE SHIPS. I am such a military geek, it's not even funny. And it had bonus GK references, which...I'm really, really predictable? So there may have been some flailing.

The website for the more comic-book art guy is arty4ever.com and his name is Michael Auger.

Thanks for the link--I want to check out his bigger pieces when I get time.

The math thing wasn't a link, really--more a suggestion that you try Gruber's for a test prep book, because it's designed to be harder than the test, and lead through everything step-by-step. That can be really helpful for people who aren't used to doing algebra and geometry every day or who don't think intuitively in math.

*g* ASkars on the bridge of a ship, getting ready to go into battle, leans back and says, "Stay frosty, gents." While offering what is possibly his trademark Colbert "fuck off, universe" attitude, for the first and last time in the entire movie. No way it wasn't intended to be a GK shoutout, and I wouldn't put money down that it wasn't his idea to add it.

There may have been more, but I was too busy flailing to notice.
