Got to the con just after lunchtime. Didn't really miss anything today, it looks like. There were a couple of panels on Friday I sort of regret missing, but I think on general principals I'm glad I stayed here and roleplayed instead, as I would have been there for four hours and really only used two. as you did discover later (being at the intro to larp larp), that ranger was an experienced leather worker who manages the tandy leather store in the 1960 area. me, i've got his number, i do, and i intend to use it. shai will be gettin' herself some stuff for whatever evil corset (cor! how can ya set in this?) she might make. me, i still want to make a pair of wings, articulated and moveable (not functional in the i can fly sense, but in the look they are moving sense). :)

Once I see how Shai's corset turns out, I may very well avail myself of his services in a similar manner. But I'll let her be the guinea pig. Not that I have any real doubt, mind - the armor on the ranger costume was exceedingly well done.

Speaking of which, you guys know that if you find yourself in a similar-but-less-desperate situation WRT time/money for a CoC LARP, you can call on me, right? I'm not sure how much assistance I can be, not being an experienced Keeper in any sense, but I'd be more than willing to assist, up to and including helping with the food/cooking.

yo, i must remember these things (ie, your being available for assistance). part of what went wrong this larp was that i got serious tunnel vision syndrome and forgot about the helpful and experienced persons out there. mea culpa completamus. :)

next year ... owlcon ... at rice university ... whatcha say? :)
