YAY, the intimidating stares, and tricky questions have been surmounted. The last hurdle is to make the corrections, and I have two weeks to get that done. (which isn't great timming but It will have to do).

I don’t feel elated yet, mostly exhausted. So close to the end now.

Thanks! There are a whole bunch of your posts that I read and not commented on, I'm glad you are enjoying your trip there. If you stayed for a second year would you want to try a different posting?

No, actually one of the main reasons for doing a second year would be so that I could do a second year here and not somewhere else...it sounds like I have the best placement location in Turkey and I kind of can't bear the thought of someone else taking it from me next year. It's mine! ;)

I'd originally thought I'd do a year here, go back to the US, and then do the program again somewhere else, but it sounds like it wouldn't be quite as great anywhere else.

I think if you have that "It's mine" feeling you should stay for a second year. That is such a nice feeling to work with.
