nah, not plagiarism. I mean at some point we will have created pretty much every combination of melody/instrumentation that's possible to create so it won't be possible to put out a song without SOMEONE thinking that it's plagiarized. but these songs are pretty different

Ehhhh the sweet like bubblegum bit might sound the same but it's not a very original progression and the rest of the song sounds nothing like it, there are more similarities between Shakatak's song and Bill Withers' Lovely Day than there are between Easier Said Than Done and Bubble Gum. It also seems weird to think they would copy the progression and then decide to make it worse by having it turn up in those awkward fly awaayayyaayay high notes.

That said I do like the Shakatak song better, it's really nice. If they plagiarised then they should have stolen more of it.
