“Stage Fighter” is a survival program in which male dancers from ballet, contemporary dance, and Korean traditional dance genres will compete against each other in a ranked battle. The dancers will combine their unique dance styles with modern and popular dance elements to present spectacular group performances.

I do hope it stays more in the stage/theater dance corner.

But this does not bode well. I doubt much of the stage/theater dance elements will still appear near the finale. Prove me wrong Mnet!

They had something similar before (Dancing9) which I really enjoyed watching. Tho it wasnt focus on stage/ballet/traditional dance, they had many dancers of those genres participate and usually they have mixed stages with other dancers of street/krump/dancesport/etc
