I think it's perfectly normal for Japanese idols and trainees at companies to hang out and become friends regardless of gender seeing how isolating it can be living and working in Korea (it's so stupid that they're barely even allowed to speak Japanese even amongst eachother in official content and videos unless they're specifically addressing a Japanese audience) but if this guy really started dating her when she was 18....nggggg! I really feel bad for straight young female idols who want to date, especially the more successful ones, because what options do they even have that are both age appropriate AND on their level?
