Aunt Beom-ja is my favorite! I feel so bad for Soo Cheol. He's like this pure soul who loves his family but just a little slow and stupid.
Hyun Woo and Hae In, I just want to hug them. Its sad that something like this needs to happen for them to sort of realize how much they really love each other.
Looking forward to how Hyun Woo will fight in Hae In's place to win back Queens.
I marathoned it this weekend. It's nearly perfect. It's amazing that the episodes are 90 minutes long and how little my mind wanders when watching it. I'm invested in everyone and everything--even the small town elections lol
All the characters are fab. The twist on the chaebol family has been really well-executed. I hope this writer delivers to the end. I just realized she's the writer off Crash Landing on You, The Producers, and My Love From the Star. I have such high hopes, especially coming off that cliffhanger in episode 8!
The last 2 episodes were amazing in so many aspects. We already know somehow that we'll have the chairman having a heart attack but they did it well that it did not appear too cliche. Even Eun Sung being the real son of Mrs.Moh was pretty obvious at some point but still I didn't mind how they delivered their story. I am just a little curious why Mrs. Moh wants the family to break apart. Did they do something to her in the past? Its like she had serious intentions from the start.
It was fun seeing Vincenzo LOL and really that ending of episode 8 holds a lot of promise. I think we're going to have a lot of fun in the small town. I feel like my favorite aunt Beom Ja will soon fall in love.
I cannot believe Beom Ja has been right about everything thus far! I now think she's right that the girlfriend really did murder her mom!
This twist--the crazy drinking aunt who was in prison throws around allegations that are true--is what I love about this show! Any other drama you would have known her MO from the beginning and waited for her comeuppance. Instead, we learn she's not that crazy and we wait for her to exact her comeuppance. In no other drama would we be rooting for her! Even Soo Cheol. Normally, you would roll your eyes or pray for the character to leave the scene, but that bicycle scene had me feelin' all sorts off things. I hope they stay together!
I, too, am wondering what led to this decades-long revenge plan. Girlfriend seemed intent enough to do what she had to do when her son was born or shortly thereafter. Leaving him in an orphanage--purposely? That's dedication.
Exactly! There must be something driving her to do all those things.
In the next episodes, I want the Queens Family to feel/enjoy the slow life hahaha and I really want to hug Soo Cheol. He legit loves his family. I know they mentioned it on the earlier episodes that the kid did got DNA test but why is it that I feel like he's not even his son =(
