Awesome drama! I waited until part 2 to start it and I did well as I ended up watching all the episodes during the weekend. It's such an addictive show!
I really enjoyed having new actors every couple of episodes, everyone was really good, especially Oh Jung Se (always blown away by his performances) and Kim Mi Kyung (the last episode broke my heart, I couldn't stop crying). I was also very happy to see Kim Jae Wook again with long hair and as a psychopath after Voice XD
Though the message of the show is a bit too simplistic as it doesn't dwell into mental health, it's important to remind everyone of the people left behind after a death. I couldn't stop thinking about Lee Sun Kyun and that made me even more emotional.
It was highly addictive! I should have waited to watch episod.es 1-4 until 5-8 were released!
Oh Sung Se was phenomenal! When I first saw him, I immediately sat upright and squealed. I prayed he would last longer than Sung Hoon did lol
I, too, was grappling with the story's message. You identified what I had difficulty resolving--poor mental health isn't something that's resolved by reflection. I wish Death had expressed empathy and encouragement more creatively in her attempts to reason with him rather than blame him. There's still too much "blame" and "I just don't understand" when people are grasping for air from what seems to be an untenable situation. That said, I do appreciate the sentiment and if helps someone, then it's been beneficial.
