I'm a bit surprised Cube made an announcement. I've always felt like BTOB was sooo back burned for them. I hope the gentlemen are able to move on with life and do what they like. They were always one of the better vocal groups around and all seemed like nice enough guys.

I've been waiting for this to come out since middle of the year. Most of us felt that they wont renew their contract. Still, I am a little heartbroken. I dont know why but maybe its the natural reaction BTOB is my ultimate favorite group for the longest time now.

A couple of things circulating right now but the most important one is their trademark rights. I feel that they still somehow want to do things together as a group so its pretty important that they get to use the name and their songs. My thoughts is just everywhere right now.

Now CUBE, please give international fans a chance to watch BTOB TIME: Be Together THE MOVIE. I beg you!

Finally, it's about time! They've grown out of the support Cube could provide after 2017/2018 once they started to exclusively produce their own music and develop their own concepts. Idk what is it with Cube's admin/marketing teams because it's been consistently low-effort output and poor instincts for years. BTOB and Pentagon were getting the same fonts and album packaging like they ordered in bulk and couldn't be arsed.

They have solid footing in the industry now. Eunkwang and Changsub are consistently on variety. Changsub has his own artist development company. Sungjae just needs to pick a good acting project or variety after his break. Hyunsik can continue producing music and doing solo concerts. Minhyuk and Peniel i think are a little more uncertain, which is why I suspect Minhyuk has been posting more thirst traps since he seems to be most geared toward the traditional idol track. I do think they can form their own independent company if they wanted to but wouldn't be surprised if a label picks up some of the vocalists.

Oh damn I'm bummed out, hope they continue as a group. Their last comeback was the first comeback I tuned in lol and honestly it was really fun and they seem like one of the most vocally talented groups out there, it'd be a real shame if they stopped here. Damn, I'm sad for the fans.
