No, they didn't but seeing how he acted in videos (Elle behind the scenes, airport) shared by pannchoa (couldn't stand still, moved constantly, had slurred speech), I'm sure it wasn't anything light.. He looked like his addiction was serious.

I remember watching his video from Chanel event at the beginning of the year and wondered why his fans said he was acting normally. He was over-reacting, jumped like a kid, played hide-and-seek (?).
