I may try watching the first episode but I'm really not interested in seeing them in a foreign country, struggling with the language when Na PD has already done a few shows like that and I've never been able to finish any of them :(
the first season was soooo good! the second season wasn't too bad, although i did miss the small town and store. they felt more connected to that first store, but in the second season they were must trying to survive because it was too big and too much to handle (although i do think that covid shutdowns while filming may have made things more hectic and rushed too).
and like you said na pd (and others) have done the foreign country thing before too, so it's not that exciting. i also wonder if because they're abroad they won't have any part timers. i really wish they went back to that first season format.
The second store was way too big but I ended up loving the people especially the kids, it was nice to see some regulars and have them share stories (plus they had some good part-timers... I still can't believe they invited Kim Hye Soo and she said yes, that woman is so adorable).
I'm afraid we'll have less part-timers for the next season, it'd be too expensive to send them all to the US. Maybe they'll get a couple that will stay from start to finish like in Youn's Kitchen.
i agree wi tyou. and i love na pd's shows, but we don't need another one! the first one was charming. the second one, i grew to really enjoy also. and i did worry bc they grew bigger and wondered what they're gonna do for 3rd season. and i just really don't like the idea of interacting with foreigners when they could get so many wholesome stories just by interacting with the locals in small towns in korea.
