Every week I check the charts for this day in the past and share the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week we are going back to the 2nd week in July, 2015. Another week of me totally remembering the ladies, and only kinda remembering the boys lol.

#3 Teen Top “ah-ah”
This was the lead single ( Read more... )

Shake It and Heart Attack are still so good.

I didn't understand why the Teen Top song's English title was Ah-Ah (the original Korean title means From Morning to Morning), but I'm guessing this was the time the acronym Ah-Ah for Iced Americano became popular? Part of the lyrics talk about asking a girl out for coffee too. It's such a chill, catchy bop.

Maybe because the korean acronym is "Ah-Ah" as well (Achimbuteo Achimkajji), but most of the English song titles don't make sense, like Rocking

Yeah I knew it was an acronym, but I didn't understand why they had to shorten the title.

Agree about Rocking. Miss Right also comes to mind, I guess they didn't want to just call it "Girl with Long Straight Hair" in English.

I like most of these songs! I can't believe that Sistar and AOA were going head to head on the charts with some of the best summer songs that kpop has ever given us!

I remember being quite happy with that 2pm comeback because it had been a while since they last one and I actually liked the song. It's one of my most played 2pm tracks today.

Heart Attack and Shake It I didn't like them when they were released, but now I've come to appreciate them. Especially Heart Attack, it's so high and irritating but yet so catchy. so many failed covers of the song though oops.

Love Me Right was a great track, it was on my playlist for years
