Only two episodes left! No! The teamwork and camaraderie at the hotel during the battle has been epic. But if they kill my precious mermaid I will be SO MAD. (But also she must not survive if she’s not with Lee Rang in the future we already know? Depending on how time travel works, I guess.) Been enjoying this series a lot.
These two episodes were so good! The guys left at the hotel spelled loyalty and friendship in all uppercase. I wanted to watch the next episodes immediately coz everything is hanging right now!

I've been wondering about the mermaid and future Lee Rang, too! I don't know if the universe in the future is supposed to be linear or parallel, but I figured the future might have been altered the second Lee Yeon saw Lee Rang and they went to town together. I just found it curious how they almost seem to keep the contact between other characters to the minimum, especially Eunho with Shinju and Lee Rang himself.
But also apparently they already confirmed the 3rd season, so I've been also wondering if the season will end on a cliffhanger/open end...
After the first two eps I completely forgot to keep watching. Glad to know that I can watch almost all eps now/will prob be able to binge til the end this weekend!
the plot and themes is still so surface level but it's still such good fun if you just take it as it is.
I am very much amused by the difference in storylines between the brothers because Lee Dong Wook is just having some fun shenanigans, very much running on no thoughts just vibes here while looking pretty and then Kim Bum is going full angst angst angst with a brief moments of happiness with his mermaid lady before we go back to tragic backstories and more angst (while also looking so pretty, no seriously give that man a lead in a rom-com asap, I swear this season has rekindled my dormant crush on the man).
I felt like the writers had to think of a way to bring back Lee Rang because everybody loved Kim Bum in the first season LOL and I'm glad he's in season 2 as well. And I agree he is so crush-worthy. from Nine Tailed season 1 to Law School to Ghost Doctor, he's been doing good with his projects.

I've been thinking that this time travel possibly changed the present. And it may even be part of what we'll have in season 3!
